Qualifications and past experiences: 

  HELLO, I am Stephen Baird,
As the founder of Rockhouse Ranch Services, I am pleased to offer my experience,
skills, and services to our neighbors here in Central Texas.
My interest in ranching began at an early age on my grandfather’s working cattle,
horse and goat ranch, near Belton, Texas. I am currently, the ranch manager of
that working ranch. With this background, I was selected to be the Commander
of the “Mounted Color Guard” (that is the cavalry) at the high school academy that 

I attended.
      In addition to ranching, my adult career includes row-crop farming,
manufacturing, and metal fabrication. Most recently, I worked in the commercial
and residential air conditioning installation and repair industry.
At Rockhouse Ranch Services, I am well-positioned to provide a variety of
services.
      We know the “rancher’s curse” of not being able to leave the cattle, goats, horses,
and working dogs unattended for even a few days, much less an extended period
of time. For this, we offer absentee tending, feeding, of the livestock.
Additionally, we install and maintain solar-powered electric gates and minor fence

this website.) For larger projects, we are available to provide planning, oversite,
and project management services.
